At Mt. Tabor, our Reach-Up teams lead the way in connecting hearts to God through worship. Whether you’re drawn to planning uplifting services, guiding a Sabbath School class, supporting prayer groups, or welcoming everyone as a Greeter, you’ll help create a joyful, inviting space where faith thrives and spirits are uplifted.

Extend Care to Our Community

If you find purpose in outreach, Reach-Out is for you. Join a ministry that steps beyond our walls—participate in small groups, amplify our message through Communications & Marketing, serve with health and parenting programs, support Discoveryland’s little learners, advocate for religious liberty, or make a hands-on difference with PACS and Mission Panama. Here, you’ll help make God’s love visible in practical, powerful ways.


Empower and Guide

Become part of the team that provides leadership and direction for our church. Reach-Forward volunteers serve within church governance—whether as Elders, Deacons, or committee members—to ensure smooth operations, wise stewardship, and a vision anchored in faith. Your gifts for planning, stewardship, or organization can bless the whole congregation.

Nurture Faith and Growth

Invest in the spiritual journey of others through Reach-In. You can mentor in Bible study groups, inspire kids in Children’s Ministries, champion education at Portland Adventist Elementary School, or lead adventures with Pathfinders. These roles focus on discipling and equipping believers of every age for a vibrant walk with God.


Foster Connection and Belonging

Help build the bonds that make our church a true family. Reach-Across volunteers create welcoming moments inside our doors—organizing fellowship dinners, greeting guests each Sabbath, or planning social events that draw us closer.
